If you were anywhere near Henley-on-Thames this past weekend, I really hope you made it to the festival as it was one of the most sunny, glamorous and downright fun events we have been a part of.
The line up consisted of Jessie J, Lionel Ritchie and the Gypsy Kings; the people were beautiful in black tie and the food? Well, of course the Seven Mile Food Truck kept everyone well fed on steak and Stilton sauce!
It really is an idyllic location for what felt like a truly British event.

We have also been having fun up north in the the beautiful town of Bakewell which hosted the Eroica Britannia festival in June. It was a gorgeous setting and we loved catching up with all of our northern friends and indeed, making some new ones!
Instead of our regular festival fare, we built a pop up restaurant for the event which was bloody hard work but so worth it! And just goes to show what you can do from a horse box kitchen...three course formal dining for 50 people at a time? No problem!
We even had our first proposal, can you believe it! The most gorgeous couple got engaged over Sunday lunch in our little restaurant! I didn't want to embarrass them by posting their picture here but if they need a wedding planner / caterer, hopefully they might consider Seven Mile!

And finally, a huge shout out to my amazing husband, who not only can often be found helping out at various Seven Mile events, but also runs his own brilliant junk removal and recycling company and is the subject of an amazing video made by Google in honour of Veterans Day. Please check it out and of course, get in touch if you ever need a clearance company, staffed by veterans, who recycle or upcycle everything they can get their hands on!
Luckily he isn't this dusty anymore!
